After years of fluctuations within the body and mind, Zara became more focused on yoga after she began to experience the benefits in all areas of her life that come with having a regular practice.
Zara spent many years in a variety of jobs, unfulfilling and taxing on the soul, and following a series of turbulent relationships Zara went to India to do her first teacher training.
Her original training in Ashtanga/Vinyasa suited Zara’s personality and her style of teaching became strong and dynamic.
Then, in 2016, Zara completed a blissology teacher training with Eion Finn in Bali and has been sharing these learnings with great excitement and passion as it was on this training that she discovered her mission was to encourage others to honor their bodies and feel free within its uniqueness.
With that being said, Zara’s creative sequences are designed to ferret out emotion whilst focusing on alignment so that her students can feel free to explore their practice and their bodies in a safe and sustainable way.
Her classes can be strong but are well paced with options offered for beginners and more experienced yogis who are looking to challenge themselves whilst also holding the space for them to explore the deeper more spiritual aspect of yoga with a lot of laughs along the way.
Zara has a real understanding of the stresses and strains of everyday life and shares openly with her students about her journey to get comfortable in her own skin which in turn makes her relatable. By sharing so openly she hopes to inspire others to follow their bliss.
Knowing that love is the base line you’ll often find Zara regularly giving out sweaty hugs along the way.
