I found my way to yoga in 2007 while recovering from a traumatic accident that shattered my pelvis. A life of poor decisions had left me listless, marooned in a dark place, suffering the perceived slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune. I then lost my brother to complications from PTSD following his military career, and as a result, I found myself further deepening into a rut. Broken and yearning for change, I stumbled into a yoga work-for-trade offer that allowed me to pay my way through service to the studio. There, I began the incredible, transformative journey of the yogic path.
Slowly replacing bad habits and ill-gotten gains with the light of yoga, I fell deeply in love with the gift of this practice. Knowing that great gifts need to be shared, through traditional and contemporary training I have been molding myself into a teacher that motivates you to do the work so that you too can receive all that yoga has to offer. I believe a rich and fulfilling life is spent tending to your own garden, and mine is now in full bloom thanks to the flowers of yoga and cannabis.
Cannabis has long been tied to yoga and self-realization; and for me, the combination allowed me to understand my mission – To ritualize these two forces in a way that is intuitive and beneficial for our modern lives. Join us, plant your seeds, and grow into your most complete expression of you, with wild abandonment.
