My name is Andrea Taylor, and I first discovered the practice of yoga 13 years ago when I was looking for a form of physical fitness and spiritual connection beyond what my high school P.E. class was able to offer. After my first class, I felt better than I had ever felt before, and I felt like I had challenged myself physically, mentally, and energetically in a way that I had never experienced before. At the end of that class, laying in a puddle of my own sweat, I experienced this massive spiraling energy flow flooding through my heart chakra that felt as if it was connecting me to the earth below and the heavens above. I felt so connected. And I was hooked!
I believe that we are all capable of feeling amazing in our bodies, and that we are all connected to a deep inner power and ability to heal ourselves from within. Developing our awareness of our breath, and its connection to every process in the body is incredibly empowering. Combining the wisdom of yoga with medicinal herbals is an exploratory practice into altering our state of awareness, with different strains and varieties paired with various forms of asana, and practice; from invigorating, challenging Vinyasa flows, to calming, cooling, relaxing Yin yoga. I love the idea of connecting with like-minded yogis, and people who see the benefits of, or want to experience the healing powers of yoga and cannabis in a fun, friendly, retreat-style setting!
